Niembro (Niembru)
It is a small coastal town belonging to the parish of Barro, in the council of Llanes. It is located eight kilometers west of Llanes and 22 kilometers east of Ribadesella, located between the foothills of the Cuera mountain range and the Cantabrian Sea.
Niembro has two of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Asturias, the beach of Torimbia and the beach of Toranda. The beach of Torimbia is a beach of fine white sand nestled in the center of a cliff with an extension of 500 meters. In the viewpoint of Torimbia you can contemplate an incredible panoramic view of the coast and beautiful sunsets. From Belenos Accommodation to the beach of Torimbia there is a distance of 900 meters, while from the beach of Toranda barely distance us 300 meters.

If we walk 300 metres we can enjoy the Ría de Barro, where we find the Parish Church of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, a unique cemetery that at high tide seems to float on the water, offering an impressive view of its reflection in the water. In the estuary there is also a small port and water sports for all ages.
At a distance of 14 minutes to the east and 18 minutes to the west respectively, we reach the “very noble and loyal” fishing villages of LLANES and RIBADESELLA, with all their cultural, gastronomic and scenic offer.
The Camino de Santiago – the northern or coastal route – passes just 50 metres from Belenos Alojamientos. The Picos de Europa and the Sanctuary of Covadonga are also just a stone’s throw away.
