Rules of operation of Belenos tourist accommodation

RECEPTION

As owners of the accommodation, we are obliged to collect the IDENTIFYING DATA of all the people staying in them and make the mandatory communication to the authorities, the data that the customer must provide of all the people staying in the house, are: Full name and surname, ID or passport, as well as the full address, telephone number and e-mail of the person responsible for booking.

 HORARIO

Check-in time is from 12:00 noon on the agreed day. In case of departure of other guests on the same day, check-in will be at 19:00 hours in order to be able to carry out the cleaning work.

Checkout is 11:00 a.m. on the agreed day.

PAYMENT

The RESERVATION of the ACCOMMODATION rental will be confirmed when the CLIENT has paid the deposit in advance as a DEPOSIT.  In any case, the management of the accommodation will determine the exact amount to be paid as a deposit and will inform the client in the email confirming availability. This deposit can be made by bank transfer.

Once we have received confirmation of payment from the client, he/she will receive our RESERVATION CONFIRMATION, in writing via e-mail or by telephone. In the event that we have not received the advance deposit within 24 hours of sending the confirmation of availability email, the booking will be automatically cancelled without prior notice to the client and the flat will again become available for booking.

The TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE STAY (without deducting the deposit) can be paid in cash or by bank transfer. If the client wishes to pay in cash, it will be paid on the day of arrival, at the moment of handing over the keys and after having visited and approved the house. If the client chooses to pay by bank transfer, payment must be made at least 5 days before the date of arrival in order to ensure that we have received the payment before arriving at the gîte.

CONSERVATION OF THE DWELLING

The client receives the property in optimum conditions of cleanliness and order, and is obliged to take care of it, as well as the garden with all its furniture and vegetation. If the client observes any damage or anomaly, he/she should inform us immediately so that we can try to solve it as soon as possible.

The client must leave and return the house in an acceptable state of cleanliness and with all the furniture and belongings in the same condition as they were in on arrival.

At the end of their stay, the management will check that the property is in good condition in the presence of the guests. If any damage caused by irresponsible use is found, the client will have to pay the cost of the damaged property.

In the house you will find all the basic equipment necessary, detailed in this web page, to enjoy your stay; if you need any additional equipment you can ask for it and we will try to help you.

RULES OF USE AND COEXISTENCE

The accommodation will be exclusively occupied by registered persons. It is completely forbidden to accommodate people who are not registered. The house and its facilities are for the exclusive use of the people who are staying, in the case of invitations and as long as they do not spend the night, the owner must be informed.

The client undertakes to act with civility, respecting the natural environment, cleanliness and order of the property.

The client and all persons staying at Belenos Alojamientos Turísticos are subject to respect the rules of coexistence that apply in the municipality of Llanes.

We must respect the rest and coexistence with neighbours. For this reason, noise after 12 midnight is prohibited and during the day noise levels must be appropriate to the environment. The use of karaokes and amplifiers is not permitted. The use of any kind of pyrotechnic material (firecrackers, flares, etc.) is also prohibited. In case of non-compliance, the management of Belenos reserves the right to evict the house.

The client should be diligent and take care of the security of the building. In this regard, the client should make sure that the entrance door and windows are properly closed when leaving, just as they would do in their own home. They should pay special attention and not forget to close the velux windows on the roofs.

It is forbidden to leave rubbish in the house, garden or in the street next to the entrance door. The client undertakes to dispose of their rubbish bags in one of the rubbish bins for deposit. The nearest bins are located on the road to the port.

Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodation.

Guests are responsible for keeping the house properly locked in their absence, preventing the entry of outside personnel.

The garden shall be kept clean, without littering cigarette butts, papers, etc., and the plants that live in it shall be respected.

If a fault occurs, it shall be reported to the management as soon as possible so that it can be rectified.

If there is evidence of vandalism, noise, disturbance, justified complaints from neighbours or imprudent use of the property and its contents, the management of Belenos reserves the right to terminate the rental contract at any time, and the tenants must leave the property immediately.

The Management of Belenos reserves the right to refuse or cancel stays that do not comply with the rules of coexistence, at any time and without the possibility of reimbursement.

The management of Belenos is not responsible for the personal belongings left in the flat by the guests, as well as for the objects they may have forgotten.

If the client has to leave the house, for any reason, before the date previously contracted, they will not be entitled to a total or partial refund of the amount paid.

NON-HUMAN COMPANIONS

We know how important it is for you to travel with your non-human companion, so they are welcome as long as the basic rules of coexistence, socialisation and hygiene are respected.

The owner of the animal is obliged to keep it in hygienic and sanitary conditions during its stay at Belenos. They must also be identified and have a valid health card, this point will be checked upon arrival of the clients.

Let us know before you arrive that you are not travelling alone, so that we can prepare your stay accordingly.

We have beds and towels for them. We will also have to put covers on the sofa. In Asturias we know that sometimes it rains and we live 300m. from the beach, so it is very important that the animals do not enter the accommodation wet.

Pets may not be bathed in the bathrooms or showers in the rooms, nor may towels belonging to human guests be used to dry them.

They may not climb onto beds or sofas.

Guests staying with pets are responsible for their non-human companion at all times.

They will not be able to stay alone in the house. We know from experience that not everyone stays calm when we humans leave. In Asturias in high season it is forbidden to take dogs to the beaches, but we ask around and maybe we can point you to a secret place.

The client is responsible for any damage caused by the pet travelling with him/her, either to third parties or to the furniture. The amount of the damages caused during the stay will be deducted from the deposit at the end of the stay.

We don’t have bags for their droppings, don’t forget to bring them with you.

To enter or leave the facilities of the house and to use the common areas (garden) they must be leashed, because perhaps the other customers are not very petfriendly.

The Management of Belenos reserves the right not to admit pets that cause a nuisance to other guests or behave inappropriately during their stay.

We have to charge a cleaning supplement of 20€ when you come with pets. We know that they are very dirty and we generate more hours of work cleaning the accommodation.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The heating system heats the whole house by means of radiators and is included in the price of the stay. It should be used responsibly and appropriately, keeping the thermostat at a suitable temperature.

The heating system, the various household appliances and multimedia equipment provide comfort and convenience to the guests of the house. Enjoy them and make a rational use of them, they are resources with an important economic and ecological cost, and their control will allow us to maintain attractive prices.

The lights should be kept off in those rooms of the house that are not in use, in order to promote energy saving.

BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY

If the cancellation or change of dates of the reservation is made 20 or more days before the date of arrival, we will refund 100% of the amount paid in all cases, except for bank charges (if any) associated with the management of the return of the reservation.

If the cancellation or change of dates is requested during the 20 days prior to the reserved date of entry, the reservation fee will not be refunded.
